Many The Sims community sites began reporting the issue and a Simmer named glitzyangel posted a guide on how to get rid of it. I want custom content from exchange for pregnant sims children toddlers teens etc. I have tried uninstalling the re installing did not work. Players then unknowingly uploaded these 'infected' packages to The Exchange, causing it to spread to other players further. i currently own sims 3, sims3,pets,late night, high end loft, generations, and world adventurious. The doll was determined to cause longer loading times and game crashes, some players even reported lost savefiles. Game installations became 'infected' by players downloading lots, houses or Sims with the hidden doll attached, similar to the way many computer viruses spread, what caused many players to believe, that it was in fact a virus, which is actually not the case. I can't stand playing the game without any extra clothing and lots etc from The Exchange, its to the point where I'm considering just buying Sims 4 but I love Sims 3 so would really love to figure out the issue. In June 2010, several players noticed that a package file was attaching itself to other packages in The Sims 3. I have checked all over posts and answers yet none have worked for me. (This is for Sims 3 on Mac, I have Sims 3, World Adventures, University life, Seasons, Pets, Late night, Ambitions, Generations, Showtime) But I still cannot do it? I don't know where to go from here. I have make sure everything is up to date, my laptop and game, I've made sure all my internet settings are correct, that I can download pop ups for example and allows pop ups.

I have used it previously so I know the way it works but nothing is working, when I attempt to download it asks me if it can launch the Sims 3 launcher (which I already have open), I agree, yet nothing goes to the download tab. When on The Exchange, I am attempting to download literally anything at all, lots, sims for example.
